Grades 9 - 11 Package

students in a classroom

Let’s start building your profile years before you apply to college. Through my development program, we will work together to choose the most competitive academic courses to take, plan your extracurricular activities, prepare for standardized testing, and begin formulating strategies to differentiate and make your college application unique.

  • Monthly College Counseling Meetings

    Ongoing Meetings

Supportive college counseling begins with a strong foundation. We will meet (at minimum) monthly so I can better support and guide you during your high school journey. These will serve as check-ins as well in order to monitor your progress in high school, think about where you want to go, and celebrate everything in between.

  • High School extracurricular activity planning

    Extracurricular Activities

Why do colleges care about your involvement? What does it reveal? We’ll discuss your interests and how to approach your activity planning, as well as how best to position yourself to develop leadership qualities.

  • Summer activity internship or research planning

    Summer Planning

Research project? Volunteer? Part-time job? Sports? What should I do?! Students often wonder what the ‘right’ activities should be. Does it look better if I do 4 years of basketball? Or is it OK to do 2 years and volleyball and 2 years of track instead? Let’s discuss what this means and I’ll walk you through the thinking of a college admissions officer.

  • high school course planning

    High School Course Selection

AP Stats or AP Calc? 4 years of science or an extra year of AP History? We’ll map out your course selection to ensure that you are presenting the most rigorous and competitive high school transcript.

  • college visit

    College Visits

Are you planning to visit a college campus? Will you be meeting with the admissions officer during the information session? What questions should you ask them? Let me coach you with best practices and tips to make the most of your college campus visit!
