Grade 12 Package
The Grade 12 (Senior Year) College Application Package covers all aspects of the application process from the summer before Senior year until graduation. We will primarily meet virtually, with the occasional option to meet in-person if you’re in the Los Angeles area.
This is a complete end-to-end application counseling. The work is completed on a one-on-one basis, meeting weekly with no time limitations to ensure that you submit your most compelling application.

As you approach Senior Year, there's only so much left that you can control in your college application. You might be able to add one or two more activities, perhaps try to make an impact the summer before the school year, and you might consider taking the SAT/ACT once more during the Fall semester. You grades are all but settled (save for your first semester senior year grades), so what's left? In my view, this is where the fun begins!
I will do a complete inventory check with you and begin to strategize how best to prepare your college applications. We will meet weekly beginning the summer before your Senior Year in order to maximize our time together (keep in mind, I have no time limits in my meetings, and we can meet twice, three times, or even everyday if you'd like!). During the summer, we will work on and complete your Common Application essay. In addition, we will begin to formulate your college list and I will give you ideas/tips on application strategy. In addition, we will discuss and ensure that you have an impactful activity during the summer. In August, we begin working on your supplemental essays, reaching out to your teachers to secure letters of recommendation, and schedule/prepare for any upcoming standardized testing. We'll also work on aspects like the additional information section, extracurricular activity summaries, mock interview preparations, and polish any awards/honors you may have.
Prior to submitting any application, I will go through each application question line-by-line with you so that we're all on the same page. My goal is to ease the stress of this process by being on-call to you every step of the way!

Weekly Meetings
Meetings will be scheduled once a week so I can better support and guide you during your senior year. These meetings will serve as a touch base and a time to work on your essays, short answers, and applications.

Having both read/evaluate over 8,000 college essays and helping to brainstorm, edit, and revise essays as as college counselor, we will work together to write reflective and thoughtful essays that will show your depth, maturity, and your way of thinking.

Interview Coaching and Resume Builder
Many colleges offer the opportunity to do an in-person or virtual interview as part of their application process. During my time at USC (when they still offered interviews as an option), I conducted over 200 interviews with prospective students. I will lead you in mock interview sessions and give you insight into what we look for during this process, as well as how you can position yourself to being memorable.

Specialty in colleges/universities in the USA, with a focus on highly selective institutions (top 35 in particular). We will work together to create your college list, strategize Early Decision/Early Action/Regular Decision application rounds, and maximize your competitiveness for these institutions.

Personalized College List + Scholarship Search
Counseling applicants on particular preferences of each college and helping select the right schools to apply to. What to do before visiting a college? What questions should you ask? I’ll help get you started. In addition, FAFSA, CSS profile, and scholarship search tips will be provided.

College Application Process Revealed
Ever wonder how admission decisions are made? What is the review process like? What are admission officers looking for? What kind of conversations take place in committee? I’ll lead you through case studies and mock admission committees so you’ll gain insight into how decisions are made. In my counseling philosophy, I believe that by understanding and learning what goes on in the minds of the admission officer, you’ll gain a better understanding of the process as a whole, which will lead to a more competitive application.
